Engineering drawings can be created from 3D solid models or paper drawings can be converted to CAD format.
01Not all reverse engineering tasks require scanning. Clients may provide their own sketches with dimensions to be determined through dimensional measurement. This process is similar to inspecting a drawing, but nominal values are not pre-established. Establishing tolerances for product manufacturing can be challenging. Meeting FAA and FDA standards often involves measuring multiple parts to establish tolerances based on detected variations.

The drawings can be generated from parametric 3D solid models or from a model you provide in a variety of formats, including STP and IGS. We can also convert old paper drawings to CAD format for advanced quality control and easier maintenance.
